Laura has over 22 years of medical device clinical and regulatory experience across numerous roles. She has directed over 30 global medical device studies. She has been involved with submission and support of multiple PMAs leading to approval of 9 class III medical devices in the US and China. She has extensive experience with the development and execution of global clinical trial strategies ranging from pre-clinical testing to large scale post-marketing registries. She has served on 3 MDEpiNet/ FDA working groups for medical devices. Laura is an experienced critical care nurse, infection control nurse, and has recent experience as an aesthetic nurse treating patients with dermal fillers, neuromodulators, and energy devices. She clinically supported first-in-human implants of several novel medical devices in the cardiovascular space. She is an accomplished medical writer, speaker. She is published in multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals on the topics of dermal fillers for the treatment of acne scarring, neuromodulators for the treatment of facial wrinkles and lines, obesity intervention devices, cardiopulmonary assist devices for heart failure and extracorporeal circulation. Laura has been a nurse for over 28 years and is currently finishing a degree program for Family Nurse Practitioners. She has worked across many industry sectors, ranging from virtual medical device start-ups to big pharma companies. She also has experience working with large global CROs. Laura has been involved in the development and validation of 10+ rating scales for facial aesthetic indications.
